Father told us yesterday that we were leaving. Well, he told me, then he told the girls. Joy got quiet, and Felicity got upset.

I'd really rather not go, but there's no sense in worrying about something I can't change. I can't seem to get the girls to understand this. Who knows... we might even like it there. And the best part is that Joy's friend will have to stay here in England.
